The "Water for Life" Exhibition will showcase a series of artworks inspired by the theme of water, created by multiple international artists. The objective of this theme is to raise awareness about an important social and cultural issue: more than a billion individuals – one in seven people on the planet – now lack access to safe drinking water. This unique and international cultural activity aims to engage the community in support of safe drinking water.
This year, the exhibition aims to promote environmental awareness and respect, with a particular emphasis on the importance of conserving water sources in this key tourist location. This comes amid challenges such as the invasion of Sargassum seaweed due to global climate change.
Aimi Kaiya will present two nature-inspired artworks: "Rain On the Grass" (2023) and "Blue Sea Anemone" (2023). Her artworks will become part of the permanent collection of the Maya Museum in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
